Internally are 20 loose real photographs

Comprising images of its maiden voyage from Friedrichshafen to Lakehurst, New Jersey 15-Oct-1924, its construction, airship skeleton views, an interior of the passenger cabin, a group portrait of the crew, and portraits of Zeppelin's bigwigs including inventor "Graf Zeppelin" (Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin) and Dr. Hugo Eckner, the chairman of the company and commander of the ship on its first voyage, portrait of "Dr. ing. h. c. Durr, Director of the shipyard", "gondola with 400-PS Maybach motor" and chart of various dirigible types

The twenty photos are 8-1/2 x 6-1/4 inches (with orientation varying) tipped onto a brown paper in turn tipped onto card stock with letterpress captions.

In good condition.
Portfolio rubbed, sunned and age toned, card stock occasionally bumped or creased at margins, otherwise ok with mild traces of use and age.
